Easy Apple Crisp

Ingredients:

* 3 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced thickly
* 1/4 cup sugar
* 1/8 tsp. salt
* 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
* 1/4 cup oil or margarine
* 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
* 1/2 cup oats
* 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees while you prepare the apples. Place apples in a square baking dish. In a bowl, mix together all other ingredients. Spoon the oat mixture over the apples and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly browned. Serve! Makes 4 servings.

Note: Be sure to pick a margarine that says, "No hydrogenated oils" or "trans fat-free." Those oils are really bad for you.
